In a late-night police operation in Jhikargacha, Jashore, four young men were arrested with firearms, walkie-talkies, sharp weapons, and five motorcycles. The raid took place at a poultry farm in Kawria village’s Auliapara area, owned by a man named Sohag. Acting on a tip-off, police, led by OC Nur Mohammad Gazi and SI Abu Hasan, recovered a cache of items including local weapons, toy pistols, knives, wireless sets, and surveillance cameras. The main accused, Sohag, and several others managed to flee during the raid. Authorities believe the arrested individuals may be members of an organized robbery and extortion group operating in the region.
